A quick update from the theatre office...
Today we had the BBC Voices project with us documenting the history of Shakespeare at the Maddermarket and in particular our current production of As You Like It.
Director Chris Bealey and actors Laura Landamore and Jo Sessions chatted away and performed a wee bit of the Bard for the cameras.... yes, even Mr 'Do I have To Be Enthusiatic?' Bealey let loose with a quick bit of Hamlet!!
We suspect Mr B is a bit grumpy after losing last night's 'Shakespeare-Off' to Mr Dane (most Shakespeare productions acted in) and Mr Seeley (most Shakespeare productions involved with). At least it kept them occupied during quiet times in rehearsal... not that there are many of those with Mr B in charge!
Pictures from today are up on the Rehearsal Photos page.
Peace, Out xxx

well yes, i may not be the most enthusiastic person in front of a camera that's true but i've done some research today about the seely, dane, bealey shakespeare-off. i have counted back 16 shakespeares this one making 17. i may have doen a couple of others but couldn't absolutely confirm those. anyway i'd like to state for the record that that puts me well ahead of seely. as for the dane, well as laura would say, 'he's a legend'
